Inspection Points and
NOTE:
Before starting assembly, make the necessary
adjustments, based on the type of wheelchair,
with reference to the table on page 7. After the
assembly has been completed, inspect it, and if
any adjustments are needed, follow the proce-
dure outlined below.
1. If the main switch ass'y interferes the side of
the wheelchair, move the right wheel as-
sembly farther out by, using the supplied
washer.
Detachable type
Put the washer between the bolt clamp
bracket and the frame.
Fixed type
Put the washer between the wheel assem-
bly and the frame.
2. Adjust the length and angle of the main
switch if it is difficult to operate the switch.
To make adjustments, first cut the clamp of
the wire harness.
Adjusting the angle
Remove the attachment bolt from the
main switch ass'y, and adjust to an angle
which facilitates operation.
NOTE:
The angle can also be adjusted by removing the
middle bracket and reassembling like the main
switch ass'y straight.
Adjusting the length
Remove the bolt in the center of the main
switch ass'y, and adjust to a length that fa-
cilitates operation. Clamp the wire har-
ness using the clamp provided in the
same package, making sure the wire har-
ness is taut.
CAUTION:
Tighten the bolts in accordance with the
tightening torque table on page 4. If "Apply
thread lock" is noted for a screw in the
"Remarks" column, apply thread lock to that
screw.
