6. Press the z (power) key to turn on this unit. (Fig. 21)
7. Press the z (AMP) key on the remote control to set
this unit to standby. (Fig. 22)
8. Repeat pressing the PURE DIRECT key 12 times
within 15 seconds. (Fig. 21)
9. Press the z (AMP) key on the remote control to turn
on this unit. (Fig. 22)
This unit starts the self-diagnostic function mode.

Notes:
• Applying the power to this unit without correcting the
abnormality can be dangerous and cause additional
circuit damage. To avoid this, if protection function
has been activated the number of times which is set
beforehand, the power will not turn on even when the
z (power) switch is pressed.
• The output transistors in each amplifier channel
should be checked for damage before applying
power to this unit.
• Amplifier current should be monitored by measuring DC
voltage across the emitter resistors for each channel.
• When turning on this unit again:
1. Remove the top cover.
2. While pressing the SW501 on FUNCTION (1) P.C.B.,
press the z (power) switch. (Fig. 23)
This unit starts the self-diagnostic function mode.
* When you start the self-diagnostic function mode
by pressing SW501 for 3 seconds or more, the
function will start in the protection cancel mode.
(Except when the current protection function is
working.)

れた回数だけ働いた場合、 それ以降 z（電源） スイッ
チを押しても電源が入らなくなります。
ランジスタに損傷がないかチェックしてください。

てしてください。
1. トップカバーを外します。
2. FUNCTION(1) P.C.B. の SW501 を押しながら z
（電源）スイッチを押します。 （Fig. 23)
ダイアグが起動します。
* ダイアグを起動する時、SW501 を 3 秒以上押し
続けるとプロテクション解除モードでダイアグが
起動します。 （過電流プロテクション動作時を除
く。 ）
