3.1.4 Setup "H/W RAID" Menu Functions

Your Galaxy NAS LX5 has been preconfigured with a RAID card that supports the SATA based disk
drives located in the system. You can access the RAID device manager by cliking on the RAID card
button on this menu. For full documentation and configuration information, refer to the hardware RAID
card manuals that shipped with the Galaxy NAS LX5.
In the example below the ARECA RAID management display does not appear but it works the same
way by clicking the Areca manager button, the login is and password is [zeroes].

Warning: the administration of the H/W RAID is critical to the security and existing usage of the current
RAID that was preconfigured. If you are not sure how to proceed with the H/W RAID functions and
settings, contact Rorke technical support for assistance.
