Battery Charging
Fast Charge Receptacle
The following information applies to use of the fast charge
receptacle. See page 64 for information that applies to the
use of the standard charge receptacle.
1. Always use SAE J1772 approved charge stations and
connectors.
2. To begin charging, align and insert the charge station
connector into the receptacle until it latches.
3. The lights on the charge station will indicate charging
when the connection is made.
4. To remove the connector after the charge cycle is
complete, press the release button and pull the
connector out.
