Connecting the Base Station Place the base station in a central location near the telephone line socket and electricity sockets.
Install Install battery Your Twist 657 is supplied with 2 rechargeable batteries allowing approximately up to 12 hours of talk-time and up to 168 hours stand-by time. Before using the handset, the batteries have to be installed and fully charged.
To remove the belt clip, simply pull the clip away from the handset. Configure your Twist 657 Before you use your phone, you will be prompted to select the language for the phone menu. After charging it for a few minutes, the language selection screen appears.

Caller Line Identification Caller Line Identification (CLI) is a special service that you may subscribe from Belgacom. If you have sub- scribed to CLI service, the identity of the caller (caller’s number or name) will be displayed on your handset during an incoming call.

This feature allows you to link a picture to a contact in your phonebook. If you have subscribed to Caller Line Identification service from Belgacom, when the contact calls you, the name of the caller will appear along with the corresponding picture on the handset screen and the melody defined for that contact will ring. There are 20 fotocall pictures pre-installed on your handset.
Copy from SIM Phbk transfer Your Twist 657 can store up to 250 phonebook memories, including 10 direct access memories ( ). Each phonebook entry can have a maximum of 20 digits for the phone number and 14 characters for name.
A validation tone is emitted. If you have selected a picture for the contact and have subscribed to Caller Line Identification service from Belgacom, the phone will display the picture and name of the contact on the handset screen when the contact calls you.
