30} Connect the antenna feeder to the
wire
harness.

Attach the feeder connector (Fig. 25}
to the frame using a wire band
oil
positioned where shown.

Connect the feeder

harness as shown.

Check operation of each compoents as
follows:

Check that the wire harnesses and
cables are routed properly and
are
not
pinched, twisted or pulled taut in
all
steering positions.

Check that the radio is secure in its
mount, and that it can be removed
and installed easily with the key.
-3 Connect the battery negative cable to
the battery negative terminal.

With the ign ition switch in the ACe
position, turn on the radio switch.
Check the radio and cassette deck for
proper operation.

Recheck the harness and cable rout-
ings if there is any abnormality.
32) Check all bolts, nuts, screws and other
fasteners
for
security.
Retighten
if
necessary.
33) Install the headlight.

Refer to Step 6 and Fig. 14.
NOTE: Check
that
the
headlight
aiming gears are engaged properly.

Position the antenna assembly on the
travel trunk stay as shown in Fig. 72.
NOTE:
• 0
iscard the grommet wh ich is re-
moved from the motorcycle.
• To
ease
installation, it is recom-
mended to remove the travel trunk.
