Icon Description
Turns on when the microphone is muted
MUTE
Turns on when a new call is received and added to the call log
NEW
Turns on when the ringer is muted
Indicates battery charge status

Base Unit LEDs

LED Description
On when the phone is off-hook or when an extension
in use
phone is off-hook*
charge On when the handset is charging in its base
message Flashes when there is new phone company voice mail
*The charge-only bases have only the Charge LED
