CESSNA
MODEL 172S NAV III
All correspondence regarding your airplane should include the
Serial Number. The Serial Number, Model Number, Production
Certificate Number (PC) and Type Certificate Number (TC) can be
found on the Identification Plate, located on the aft left tailcone. The
Finish and Trim Plate, located on the lower part of the left forward
doorpost, contains a code describing the exterior paint configuration
for the airplane. The code may be used in conjunction with an
applicable Illustrated Parts Catalog if finish and trim information is
needed.
CESSNA OWNER ADVISORIES
Cessna Owner Advisories are sent to Cessna Aircraft FAA
Registered owners of record at no charge to inform them about
mandatory and/or beneficial airplane service requirements and
product changes. Copies of the Service Bulletins are available from
Cessna Service Stations and Cessna Customer Service.
UNITED STATES AIR PLANE OWNERS
If your airplane is registered in the U. S., appropriate Cessna Owner
Advisories will be mailed to you automatically according to the latest
airplane registration name and address which you have provided to
the FAA. Therefore, it is important that you provide correct and up-
to-date mailing information to the FAA.
If you require a duplicate Owner Advisory to be sent to an address
different from the FAA airplane registration address,
please
complete and return an Owner AdviSOry Application (otherwise no
