Security-lock slot
To protect your computer from theft, purchase a security cable lock that fits this security-lock slot to lock
your computer to a stationary object.

Connect the ac power adapter to the power connector to provide ac power to the computer and charge
the battery.

OneLink+ connector
Use the OneLink+ connector to connect to the ThinkPad OneLink+ Dock or to connect to the ThinkPad
OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter. With the ThinkPad OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter, you can connect the computer
to a local area network (LAN).
DANGER
To avoid the risk of electrical shock, do not connect the telephone cable to the Ethernet connector
on the ThinkPad OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter. You can only connect an Ethernet cable to this
connector.
Depending on the country or region of delivery, a ThinkPad OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter might be a part of
the shipping contents that come with your computer. If your computer does not come with the ThinkPad
OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter, you can purchase one from Lenovo at:

The Ethernet connector on the ThinkPad OneLink+ to RJ45 Adapter has two network status indicators.
When the green indicator is on, the computer is connected to a LAN. When the yellow indicator blinks,
data is being transmitted.

Mini DisplayPort connector
Use the mini DisplayPort
or high-definition television. This compact connector enables a plug-and-play setup and supports adapters
that can plug into Digital Visual Interface (DVI), Video Graphics Array (VGA), or HDMI connectors. The mini
DisplayPort connector of your computer supports audio as well as video streaming. For more information,
see "Using an external display" on page 43.
