GENERAL INFORMATION

Thank you for having chosen a PROEL product.
The new PROEL FREEPACK65 is an all-in-one, luggage-style sound system combining in an ultra-portable, easy-to-use
package everything musicians and other PA users need for playing: a full featured mixer with digital eff ect and media
player, a powerful amplifi er, two full-range speakers and high-quality connec on cables.
FREEPACK65 is a complete PA systems that, even if compact in size, quick to setup and simple to use, is packed with a
full set of features and delivers an unexpected sound quality for this kind of systems.
The 8-channel, 2x250W powered mixer, including a USB/SD media player with large LCD, is coupled perfectly with the
two speakers in a stylish luggage-style package, making transport and installa on quick and easy. A convenient and large
compartment on the back of the mixer can contain all the connec on cables and other accessories.
Two high-quality PROEL speaker cables with ultra-durable 1/4" metal jack connectors are also provided.
The two speakers, hosted in lightweight injected PP cabinets, feature a 3-way design with 1" dome tweeter, two 3"
midrange and two 6.5" woofer, which can provide a clean and defi ned sound together with an extended response
and a high SPL.
Thanks to its versa lity and portability, FREEPACK65 can be used in a variety of applica ons, such has live gigs for singers
or small bands, educa on and spor ng events, seminars and presenta ons.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (FIG. 1 / 2 / 3 / 4)

1. SD CARD / USB PENDRIVE Slots
These are the slots where you can plug in your SD card or USB pendrive FLASH
memory where you have stored your favourite songs.
The SD card compa ble are the standard capacity SDSC type, o en available from
1Mb to 2Gb size, forma ed as FAT16.
The USB pendrive can be forma ed FAT16 (2Gb or less) or FAT32 (more than 2Gb).
Usually when you buy a new memory it is pre forma ed as specifi ed above, so you
can save your songs directly on it using a PC or other device.
The media player can play WAV and MP3 fi les.
Preferably use always the same method to store the files, for example using
a filename composed by: "number-artist-album-song.MP3", because the display will show only the filename
informa on.
2. LCD Display
The LCD shows some info about the player func on:
NO DISK means that there is not a SD card or USB pendrive inserted.
During playing the FIRST ROW shows:
SD or USB that specifi es what kind of support the player is reading.
00:00 the me elapsed from the starts of the current song.
RA means repeat all songs, RD repeat randomly the songs, R1 repeat just one song.
The SECOND ROW shows:
An arrow indicates that the song is currently played or two ver cal bars that the song is currently paused.
The number of the fi le/song.
The fi lename of the song (if the fi lename text is longer than 10 characters it is scrolled).
3. PLAYER keys
PLAY or PAUSE the current song.
Skip to the previous song if it is pressed and
released.
Scroll backward the current song if it is hold down.
Select repeat all (RA), repeat random (RD) or repeat
one (R1) song.
4. MIC/LINE or USB/SD bu on
Press this bu on to select which input is assigned to channel 1: with the bu on up you can select the MIC/LINE 1 input
signal, with the bu on down you can select the USB/SD player signal.
5. CHANNEL level control.
Adjusts the level of the channel signal.

STOP the current song and restart playing from fi rst.
Skip to the next song if it is pressed and released.
Scroll forward the current song if it is hold down.
Skip between USB pendrive or SD card.
