FUEL CUT-OFF SYSTEM
This intervenes in the case of an impact
causing:
❒ cutting off fuel supply with resultant
engine switching-off;
❒ automatically unlocking the doors;
❒ switching on of all interior lights.
When the system has been triggered,
the message "Fuel cut off, see
handbook" is displayed.
Carefully check the car for fuel leaks,
for instance in the engine compartment,
under the car or near the tank area.
After an impact, turn the ignition key
to STOP to avoid draining the battery.

The following procedure should be
carried out to restore the correct
operation of the vehicle:
❒ turn the ignition key to MAR-ON;
❒ activate the right indicator;
❒ deactivate the right indicator;
❒ activate the left indicator;
❒ deactivate the left indicator;
❒ activate the right indicator;
❒ deactivate the right indicator;
❒ activate the left indicator;
❒ deactivate the left indicator;
❒ turn the ignition key to STOP.
The procedure is guided by the
direction indicator warning lights
on the control panel.
WARNING
If, after an impact, you
smell fuel or notice leaks
from the fuel system, do not reset
the system to avoid the risk of fire.
