INSTALLATION Here is the installation diagram. DASH BOARD METAL MOUNTING STRAP HEX NUT SPRING WASHER TAPPING SCREW PLAIN WASHER HEX BOLT CONSOLE MOUNTING HOUSING Precautions Fire Wall 1. REMOVE THE UNIT FROM THE DASH BOARD 1. Insert the supplied key into the slot as shown, and slide the unit out of the dash board while holding the trim plate. 2. Remove the metal strap attached to the back of the unit. 3. -

WIRING CONNECTION 1. All connections should be soldered and insulated with electrical tape. 2. Be sure to connect the red power input lead to + 12V power terminal after all the other leads have been properly connected. 3. Run all ground wires to a common ground. ANTENNA RELAY WIRE A blue wire has been provided for relay controlled antenna. -

GENERAL OPERATION 18 17 • ON/OFF Rotate the inner knob (1) to turn on or off the unit and adjust the sound output level. • BALANCE Rotate the outer knob (2) to adjust sound balance between left channel and right channel. -

RADIO OPERATION • SELECT BAND Press BAND button (5) to change bands as below: • SELECT STATION Press MANU/SKIP buttons (7) or (6) to tune the frequency downward or upward by step. TROUBLE SHOOTING Before going through the check list, check wiring connection. If any of the problems persist after check list has been made, consult your nearest service dealer.
