System Requirements

This equipment supports the following Windows operating systems. Refer to the respective manuals for details.

Supported Windows OSs

Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or later

Windows 7

Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2

Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1 or later

This equipment does not support the following Windows operating systems:

Windows 98

Windows Me

Windows NT4.0

Help files provided for the respective drivers and utilities are not updated to the latest versions.

The Client Utilities CD-ROM does not contain the printer drivers for Windows 98/Windows Me/Windows NT4.0.

When using a computer on which Windows 98, Windows Me, or Windows NT4.0 is installed, call your service

technician.

This equipment supports the following Macintosh operating system. Refer to the manual for details.

Supported Macintosh OS

Mac OS X 10.2.4 - 10.6.x

To install the Macintosh PPD files, be sure to follow the procedure described in the Operator's Guide for Windows 7 /

Mac OS X. The folder structure of the Client Utilities CD-ROM given in the Printing Guide has been changed from Mac

OS X 10.6.x or later.

This equipment does not support the following Macintosh operating systems:

Mac OS 8.x

Mac OS 9.x

The Client Utilities CD-ROM does not contain the Macintosh PPD files for Mac OS 8.x/Mac OS 9.x.
