    One (1) Year Spare parts and spare kits Ninety (90) days D-Link’s sole obligation shall be to repair or replace the defective Hardware at no charge to the original owner. Such repair or replacement will be rendered by D-Link at an Authorized D-Link Service Office.

The DGE-500T NWay Gigabit Ethernet Card is ideal for speeding up data transfers for network servers and other computers, such as those used for video-conferencing that send and/or receive large amounts of data.

    NPACKING AND NSTALLATION This chapter provides unpacking and installation information for the 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mbps NWay Gigabit Ethernet Card. Unpacking CAUTION: Under ordinary circumstances, 32-bit 10/100/1000Mbps NWay Gigabit Ethernet Card will not be affected by static charge as may be received through your body during handling of the unit.

    Installing the Gigabit Ethernet Card Shut down the computer, unplug its power cord, and remove the chassis cover. 2. Insert the contact edge of the Gigabit Ethernet card into the connector of any available PCI Bus Master expansion slot. Press the card firmly into the connector such that the card’s contacts are fully seated in the connector.

    Software Installation For installation with Operating systems Window 98SE, 98 ME and Win2000 • Install the DGE-500T to a open PCI slot. • Turn on the computer. • Windows will automatically detect new hardware, which will prompt for the driver location.
