Extension telephone/answering machine
An answering machine and/or extension phone can be connected to the
SFX-ll through the line cord supplied with the SFX-11 or by the SANYO
Dealer.
When an answering machine is connected to the SFX-11 through the line
cord supplied with the SFX-11 or by the SANYO Dealer, you can set the SFX-11
to receive both voice and fax messages while you are away.
You can switch the SFX-11 to fax reception mode from the connected extension
phone if a caller wants to transmit fax after a telephone conversation.

You can use the connected extension phone to place a phone call when original
documents are placed in the original slot for timer transmission (page 36).
