Remove the Air Conditioner From the Case
Remove the screw from each side of the case.

Keep them in a safe location.
Pull to unlatch the lower corners of the inlet

grille and lift it up and off.
Using the tab, pull up slightly on the filter

to release it and pull it down to remove.
Remove the three grille frame screws.

Grasp the lower corners of the grill frame

while pressing in on the case sides with your
finger tips. Pull out to release and lift it up.
NOTE: Do not pull the
bottom edge toward
you more than 3 " or
you may damage the
tabs of the grille.
Remove the screw securing the ground wire to

the left side of the face of the unit.

Slide the air conditioner from the case by

gripping the base pan handle and pulling
forward while bracing the case.
