TROUBLE SHOOTING

This chapter describes the actions to take if the Dica 220
does not operate correctly. Moreover, the means of
support are described.
5.1
KNOWN PROBLEMS USING THE DICA
The cleanness of the sensor is of major importance for the
image quality. During the production of the Dica 220
special attention is paid with respect to the cleanness of
the sensor. When the sensor protection cap is removed
from the Dica 220 front end prior to the mounting of the
lens, the sensor can attract some dust or dirt. This can
affect the quality of the image captured with the Dica 220.
Remove the sensor protection cap only in a clean
environment by holding the Dica 220 with the sensor facing
down. After removing the sensor protection cap inspect the
cleanness of the sensor and immediately attach the
required lens to the Dica 220.
In case of a red blinking System LED (see: 2 HARDWARE)
during the boot sequence one of the following files are
probably missing on the flash file system;
'RapDB220Lcm.rbf' or the appropriate license file
'Rhapsody.key'. The last file is required when you like to
use the Dica 220 with an embedded Rhapsody software
application. An other cause can be that the downloaded
embedded application was created for a different camera
type.
