If your oven is not turning on, ensure there is electrical power to the oven by checking the circuit breaker or fuse box in your house.
If your oven is not heating up, ensure there is electrical power to the oven by checking the circuit breaker or fuse box in your house. Also, verify that an oven temperature has been selected.
To start the Self Clean cycle, follow these steps:
You can clean your oven using the Self Clean mode or by following the cleaning guide for various parts. To use the Self Clean mode, remove all accessories and racks from the oven, ensure no timers are active, then turn the Cooking Mode Dial to "Self Clean" and the Temperature Settings Dial to "Self Clean." After 3 seconds, the display will blink; press the [+] or [-] key to set the desired Self Clean time (3 hours is default, maximum 4 hours, minimum 2 hours). The cycle begins when the time is unchanged for 3 seconds, and the oven door will automatically lock. Once the display shows "0:00," the cycle ends, and you can wipe remaining ash with a moist cloth. For general cleaning, use soap and water for glass, painted surfaces, and plastic/controls. For porcelain, wipe up acid spills immediately, and when cool, clean with soapy water or Bon-Ami®/Soft Scrub®. For stainless steel, wipe or rub in the direction of the grain with a soapy sponge, then rinse and dry, or use Fantastik®/Formula 409® and polish with Stainless Steel Magic®. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, commercial oven cleaners, or flammable cleaners like lighter fluid or WD-40.
If the oven door is locked and will not open, or if an "E" fault code appears, you can try resetting the oven by turning the oven off at the circuit breaker for five minutes, then turning it back on. The oven should reset itself and become operable.
To set the clock, follow these steps:
The control panel features various touchpads and dials. The Upper Oven touchpad switches to the upper oven in double oven models. The Lower Oven touchpad switches to the lower oven in double oven models. The Oven Light touchpad turns the oven light on or off (does not operate in Self Clean mode). The Clear touchpad clears the kitchen timer. The Timer touchpad sets and displays kitchen timers. The [+] and [-] touchpads increase or decrease displayed values. The Clock touchpad enters the clock set mode. The Oven Mode Dial selects cooking modes like Self Clean, Broil, Conv Broil, Pizza, Bake, Conv Bake, Roast, Conv Roast, Proof, Warm, and Conv Multi-Rack. The Temperature Settings Dial changes the temperature.
For baking, it is recommended to place oven racks in the desired position before heating the oven. Preheat the oven if the recipe recommends it. For best results, bake food on a single rack with at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches of air space around the pans or dishes and the oven walls. Baking time will vary with bakeware type; dark metal pans or nonstick coatings cook faster, while insulated bakeware lengthens cook time. Use the interior oven light to view food rather than opening the door frequently. You can refer to the Cooking Charts in the manual for specific recommendations on oven mode, temperature, rack position, and bake time for various foods like cakes, cookies, breads, and casseroles.
To stop a running timer and terminate the beep signal, press Clear or open the oven door.
To properly preheat your oven, place oven racks in the desired position before heating. Preheat the oven when using the Bake, Convection Bake, Convection Multi-Rack, Pizza, Broil, and Warm modes. Allow the oven to preheat while preparing recipe ingredients. Setting a higher temperature does not shorten preheat time. Once preheated, place food in the oven as quickly as possible to minimize heat loss. For broiling, preheat the oven for 3-4 minutes, but not more than 5 minutes. Preheating is not necessary for meats, poultry, casseroles, and frozen foods.
If an "E" and a number appear in the display and the control beeps continuously, this indicates a fault code. To stop the beeping, press any key or turn a knob. You may need to reset the oven. If the fault code persists, record the code, cancel the oven, and contact an authorized service technician.
To clean the glass door, use soap and water or a glass cleaner. For grease spatters and stubborn stains, you can use Fantastik® or Formula 409®.
The convection baking feature uses a convection fan to circulate heat throughout the oven. Convection Bake is similar to Bake but circulates heat from the upper and lower elements, resulting in a slight decrease in cook time and greater volume for yeast items. Convection Multi-Rack cooks with heat from a third element behind the back wall, circulated by the convection fan, offering even browning and time savings when cooking on multiple racks. When using Convection Multi-Rack, reduce the recipe temperature by 25° F if Auto Convection Conversion is not activated. For both modes, place food in low-sided, uncovered pans and allow at least 1 to 1 1/2 inches of air space around pans if baking more than one on a rack, staggering them so one is not directly above the other.
If the interior light is not working properly, the bulb may be loose or defective. You can replace or reinsert the light bulb. Touching the bulb with your fingers may cause it to burn out prematurely. If the oven light does not turn off, check for an obstruction in the oven door or if the hinge is bent. Ensure the oven light touchpad is not activated.
You can calibrate the oven temperature by adjusting the Oven Temperature Offset in the Customer Settings menu. This offset value affects the oven cavity temperature set point, making the oven hotter or cooler if food is consistently too brown or too light. The allowable range of increment is 0° to 35° F (0° to 19° C), positive or negative. This adjustment does not affect Self Clean, Broil, Conv. Broil, Warm, or Pizza modes.

The model and serial number can be found on the data plate, which is located on the underside of the control panel.
To turn on your oven, turn the Oven Mode Dial to the preferred cooking mode, then turn the Temperature Settings Dial to change the temperature.
The oven has 6 rack positions, numbered from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest), with the top rail serving as a guide for position 6. To insert a flat rack, grasp it firmly on both sides, start it into the desired oven rack guide position, then tilt the front of the rack up to allow the rear to slide under the rack stop. Bring the rack to a horizontal position and push it all the way in, ensuring it is straight and flat. To remove a rack, grasp it firmly on both sides, pull it toward you until the stop is reached, then tilt it up and pull it completely out of the oven rack guides. It is recommended to place oven racks in desired positions while the oven is cool.
To turn off your oven, turn the Cooking Mode Dial to "Off."
To remove a flat rack from your oven:
To reattach the oven door, follow these steps:
To properly ventilate the area around your oven, ensure good ventilation when cooking with gas and during and immediately after using the Self Cleaning cycle. It is important not to block the oven vent, which is located below the control panel, as it is crucial for air circulation. Warm air and steam will be released from this vent before, during, and after cooking.
The Sabbath Mode enables users of particular faiths to use their ovens on the Sabbath and can be entered at any time during a bake cycle only. To activate:
