• Electrical heater element: the appliance is equipped with
an electrical heater element at 1200W-230V~ or 500W-
230V~ in order to heat water even when the boat engine is
off (for example when the boat is in the dock). Material :
corrosion resistant alloy INCOLOY.

5. SAFETY AND CONTROL DEVICES

• Pressure relief and non-return valve: it is a non-return
valve, preventing hot water backflow into the cold water
supply; it is also a pressure relief valve, protecting the tank
against possible excessive pressure caused by water
while heating. The water is discharged from a suitable
drain, which the valve is equipped with.

Calibration
inside the electrical heater element and it acts as:
1. adjustable thermostat: it cuts off the electrical supply
to the heater element as the pre-set temperature is
achieved (the temperature can be set between 0° C
and 70° C, according to the user's needs).
2. safety thermostat: it cuts off the electrical supply to
the heater element when, in case of bad operation of
the appliance, the temperature of the water reaches
90° C. A manual intervention is needed to start up t he
appliance again (manual reset).
