NOTE:
The motors may only be disengaged by an attendant, not by the user!
This ensures that the motors are only disengaged if an attendant is available to secure the
wheelchair and prevent unintended rolling.
Disengaging the motors:
The lever for engaging and disengaging the motors is
located on the right motor.
•
Turn off the joystick box.
•
Swing the declutching lever (1) outwards.
•
Pull the lever upwards. The motors are
disengaged.
Engaging the motors:
•
Push the lever down. The motors are engaged.
• Swing the lever (1) inwards. The lever is locked in
the retracted position.
