5. Scorpion X1A Configurations

The following image shows the inside of the Scorpion X1A. There are several configuration
settings that you can modify by repositioning the jumper associated with each configurable
element.

5-1 Mono/Stereo Selector

The factory default mono mode is best for most situations. This mode combines both right (A)
and left (B) audio channels and delivers the combined sounds to the internal speaker and both
external speakers. Mono mode should be selected if no external speakers are connected. If you
are using an external speaker(s) and intend to silence the speaker separately, then stereo mode
must be used.
