  • Page 5 For optimal performance, place the control box in the centre of the pool, following the safety conditions relat- ing to electrical connection (see § 1.6). 1.6 Electrical connection - Use of an electrical extension is prohibited when connecting the control box. - Choose a dry, flat place free of any objects that may damage the underside of the control box. - Place the control box on the caddy at a distance of at least 3.5 metres from the edge of the pool, avoid plac- ing the control box in direct sunlight.

Starting a cleaning cycle 4.1 Starting up the cleaner Under normal conditions, the cleaner is effective enough that no more than 3 cleaning cycles per week should be necessary. • When you connect the control box, the operating time for the selected cycle is displayed (OV 3500 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - RV 5470 - RV 5500). • You can launch a cleaning cycle by pressing the button on the control box or the remote control (OV 3500 - RV 4550 - RV 5500). (OV 3500 - RV 4550 - RV 5400 - • The screen then displays the time remaining for the cleaning cycle, example : RV 5470 - RV 5500).

    4.5 Stopping the cleaner • Press the button on the control box. • If you want to stop the cleaner when "remove from pool" mode is active, press the button quickly to stop the cleaner and the control box. RV 4550 - RV 5400 - RV 5470 - RV 5500 - OV 3500 - : The control box switches to standby after 10 minutes and the screen is switched off. Just press any key to exit standby mode. Standby mode does not stop the cleaner if it is in a cleaning cycle.

    • The LED and the current date and time flash. This is a reminder of the current date and time you entered in order to help you to programme. Press to start programming. If the LEDs flash, this means that the time setting is not complete. To continue with the cleaning cycle programming, it is essential to set the time first. To do this follow the instructions in § 4.1. • Select the day to programme using the buttons. • Validate using the button. • Once the day has been memorised, the hour flashes: • Select the hour to programme using the buttons. • Validate using the button.

    6.3 Taking the cleaner out of the water ( RV 4550 - RV 5500) • Press the button quickly. The message is displayed. • The cleaner moves toward the wall and climbs up to the waterline. 6.4 Switching off the remote control • Press The remote control is switched off but the cleaner continues to operate. 6.5 Synchronise the remote control with the control box (in the event of a change of remote / control box, or both) If equipment is replaced, it is essential to synchronise the remote with the control box. • Place the remote control about 50 cm away from the control box.

    • Roll the brush around its support and slide the tabs into the fixing holes (3). • Pull on the end of each tab (4) until its edge passes through the slit. • Cut the tabs using a pair of scissors so that they are level with the other blades (5) We recommend that you change the brushes and filter support after 2 seasons usage to preserve the integrity of the cleaner and guarantee optimum performance.
