ECM Motor Air Flow Selection
Air flow settings for both heating and cooling are made by setting the heat and the cool airflow DIP
switches to the proper location. Ensure the furnace power supply is off before adjusting blower
speeds. Do not adjust the heating air flow below the firing rate of the furnace. The air flows for
heating are designed to give a 60

The operation of the motor requires two main connections: the 5 pin power input connector which is
120VAC, as shown in Figure 1 and the 4 pin input signal connector from the 16 x 4 Wire Box as shown in
figure 2. When wiring your ECM, the pin locations are crucial in assuring that no damage is done to the
motor or the control.
