2.6 Assembly and Disassembly

The docking station comes with a base plate to make it self-standing. To assemble
the docking station, slide the body of the docking station firmly as shown in
Figure 2-3. You will hear a click when the body snaps into place.

NOTE: The Docking Station always
needs external power to operate; it
does not derive power from the USB bus.
You can connect an industry-standard
Kensington ® security lock (not
included) here. Insert the lock's locking
end into the slot and turn the key to
lock the docking station.
