With the addition of a special cable, you can
connect the floppy disk drive module to the
parallel port. This enables you to have another
device in the modular bay and still use floppy
disks.
The floppy disk drive can only be connected
directly to the computer. You cannot connect the
floppy disk drive to the parallel port on a
DockMate Docking Solution.
If you are connecting an external floppy disk
drive directly to your computer, connect the
cable to the parallel port on the back of the
computer and the connector on the back of the
floppy disk drive module.
