FOUR CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER
7. LEDs.
The following is a description of all the AK800 protection:
1)PROTECT LED
Indicates that one of the various protections safeguarding the different sections of the
amplifier and the loudspeaker enclosure has tripped due to an operating fault.
In these cases, the power output is normally switched off until normal operating conditions
are restored.
2)CLIP LED
Indicates the presence of distortion as a result of excessive input level or too low output
impedance.
3)SIGNAL LED
Indicates signal presence for receptive channel.
4)ACTIVE LED
I ndicates active status.

8. Protection Features

Each AK800 power amplifier incorporates several circuits to prevent itself and the
loudspeakers connected from short circuit, DC voltage, and overheating damage.
(1)Thermal Protection
In the event of malfunction, a sensor located on the power outputs is able to break the circuit
avoiding that current peaks reach the speakers and damage them.
(2)DC Protection:
(3)Turn ON/OFF Protection
(4)Short circuit protection
Trips in the event of a short-circuit or overload, limiting the output current.

9. Maintenance

Correct cooling for the amplifier is ensured by an internal fan, the speed of which is
controlled by a special sensor (the speed is proportional to output power and therefore
the temperature generated): remember never to block the air vents located on the sides
of the unit in any way.
Avoid exposing the amplifier to direct sunshine, high temperature environment, strong
heat, intense vibrations, very dusty or damp surroundings, or even worse, rain: which
will cause eventual malfunction, deterioration or even electric shocks and fires.

10 User Responsibility

Before connecting or operating your new AK800 amplifier, please study the
accompanying instruction manual carefully. Pay particular attention to the operating
precautions and wiring procedure.
