Removing the unit

The procedure described here applies to the removal of
the type of unit that is suspended (hanging installation), but
the same steps are performed for a desktop type of unit
(desktop installation) as well.
 Before removing the unit, turn off the circuit breaker and
other power supply controls.
 The drop-prevention wire is attached to the bottom panel
of the unit. Be careful when disengaging the unit.
 Exercise great care during the removal work to ensure
safety by providing a stepladder or other means which is
strong enough for the unit's weight and high enough for
the installation location, and ensure that the unit will not
be dropped.
 During the course of the work, be sure to hold the unit
by its base area. Removing the unit while holding it by its
lens area or rotating parts may result in malfunctioning.
 Ensure that the removal work is undertaken by a
two-member crew.
