HEATED SEATS
(if equipped)

While the engine is running, push desired
switch to warm the driver's seat and/or the front
passenger's seat.
NOTE:
When the seat warmer is ON, the heating
system in the seat turns off or on automatically
depending on temperature selected.

To
the Hood pull the release lever. At the
front of the vehicle, raise hood slightly, pull the
secondary latch inside of the hood center and lift
the hood.
To
close
the Hood lower the hood halfway and
push down to securely lock in place.
NOTE:
Before closing the hood, check to make
sure all fi ller caps are properly installed and that
the engine compartment is free of gloves, rags or
any other combustible material.

To
the Parking Brake push the foot
pedal down.
release
To
the Parking Brake push the foot pedal
down one click and then slowly lift foot.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)
ESC
monitors the driving conditions and
under normal driving conditions, the light will
remain off . When a slippery or low traction
condition is encountered ESC will operate,
and the indicator will blink to indicate the
ESC is operating.
ESC OFF Indicator
Th e ESC OFF indicator will illuminate when
the ignition switch is turned ON, but should go
off aft er a few seconds.
To switch ESC OFF press the button. Th e ESC
OFF indicator will illuminate indicating the
ESC is deactivated.
NOTE:
If the ESC OFF indicator stays on when
ESC OFF is not selected, the ESC may have a
malfunction. Take your car to an authorized
HYUNDAI dealer and have the system checked.
INTEGRATED HOMELINK
WIRELESS CONTROL SYSTEM
®
HomeLink® Wireless Control System can
conveniently replace up to three hand-held
radio-frequency transmitters, such as garage
doors, estate gates, and home lighting. Controls
for HomeLink® are located in the lower portion
of the inside rearview mirror.
Refer to your Owner's Manual for detailed
instructions. Additional HomeLink® information
can be found at: www.homelink.com or by
calling 1-800-355-3515.
REAR SUNSHADE
(if equipped)
To
raise or lower
the Rear Sunshade press
the button.
NOTE:
Th e rear sunshade will automatically
lower when vehicle is shift ed into reverse.
Sunshade raises automatically when vehicle
is shift ed back into Drive and vehicle speed
is more than 12.4mph (20km/h).
