REFUELING
HEADLIGHTS AND FOG LIGHTS

After adding fuel, always reinstall fuel cap
fully and make sure it clicks at least three
times. Failure to do this may result in a Check
Engine light.
Headlights
To operate rotate switch.
– Headlights are off
OFF
– Parking Lights
– Headlights
– Auto Light
AUTO
Ignition must be ON for headlights
to operate.
High Beam Activation – Push lever forward.
Flash Feature – Pull lever back and release.
When high beams are activated, blue symbol
will illuminate in the instrument cluster.
Fog Light Switch (if equipped) – Rotate
switch to ON.
Fog lights function on low beam only.
Adaptive Front Light System (AFLS)

(if equipped)
AFLS uses the steering angle and vehicle
speed to rotate the headlamps to enhance
your field of vision while driving.
The AFLS goes through a system check each
time the vehicle is started.
To turn AFLS OFF, push the button. Indicator
light in the instrument cluster will illuminate.
To turn AFLS ON, push the button again.
Instrument Panel Illumination

When the vehicle's parking lights or
headlights are on, rotate the illumination
control knob to adjust the instrument panel
illumination intensity.
WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER
Windshield Wipers
To activate move wiper/
washer switch to one of four positions.
MIST: Move wiper/washer switch up to
activate. Windshield wipers will make a single
swipe across windshield.
AUTO (if equipped): Move switch down one
position. Wiper frequency can also be varied
by rotating AUTO up for faster or down for
slower speeds.
With wiper/washer switch in AUTO, wipers
will perform one swipe when vehicle is started.
LO: Move wiper/washer switch down
two positions.
HI: Move wiper/washer switch down
three positions.
WIPE/WASH OPERATION
To use Windshield Washer pull wiper/washer
lever. When washer is operated, wipers will
automatically make several passes across the
windshield. Washer continues to operate until
lever is released.
