LOW TIRE PRESSURE:
The low tire pressure
telltale comes on for 3 seconds after the ignition
switch is turned to the ON position. If the
warning light does not come on, or continuously
remains on after coming on for about 3 seconds
when you turned the ignition switch to the ON
position, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System is
not working properly. If this occurs, have your
vehicle checked by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer as soon as possible.
NOTE:
Tire pressure may vary in colder
temperatures causing the low tire pressure light
to illuminate. Inflate tires according to the
Tire Pressure Label located on the driver's side
door pillar.
LOW TIRE PRESSURE POSITION:
Illuminates if one or more tires is significantly
under-inflated. Safely park your vehicle, check
your tires as soon as possible, and inflate tire(s)
to proper pressure.
TPMS MALFUNCTION INDICATOR:
Illuminates and stays illuminated when there is a
malfunction with the TPMS system. Have system
checked by an authorized Hyundai dealer as
soon as possible.
NOTE:
The TPMS is not a substitute for
proper tire maintenance. It is the driver's
responsibility to maintain correct tire pressure,
even if under-inflation has not reached the level
to trigger illumination of the low tire pressure
indicator. Refer to the Owner's Manual for
further information.
