Changing settings

Activating the system lock $

^ Call up the "Safety" sub-menu.
^ Select "System lock $" and confirm
"On".
^ Switch off the oven.

Using the system lock:

^ Call up the ) symbol and confirm
"on".
The $ symbol indicates that the lock
has been activated. The minute minder
can still be used whilst the lock is on.
The system lock remains active even
after a power cut.
To switch the lock off call up the $
symbol and confirm "off".

Units

Temperatures can be displayed in °C or
°F, and weights in kg or lbs.

Showroom

"Showroom" mode is for dealers who
want to demonstrate the appliance
without the heater elements working.
Do not activate this setting for domestic
use!
A message will appear briefly in the
display when you call up this option.
Demo mode can then be activated or
deactivated.

Factory default setting

If you select
– "All settings"
any settings that you have altered will
be reset to the factory default setting.
– "User programmes"
all saved user programmes will be
deleted.
– "Main menu"
the main menu will be reset to the
factory default setting.
– "Recommended temperatures"
recommended temperatures which
have been changed will be reset to
the factory default settings.

Miele|home

(optional accessory, depending on
country)
This option will only appear if your
appliance is fitted with
Communication module XKM 2000 SV.
Installation
This option will only appear when the
Miele|home system is being installed
for the first time. Please refer to the
"Miele|home" installation instructions
supplied with Communication module
XKM 2000 SV for information on how to
do this.
SuperVision
This option will only appear if your
appliance is signed on to the
Miele|home SuperVision system.
See "Miele|home SuperVision - Settings"
for more information on settings.
