OPERATION PLANER OPERATION Before turning on the planer, review the safety precau- tions listed on pages 3 to 6, and the operating instruc- tions on pages 6 and 10. Make sure that you fully under- stand the features, adjustments and capabilities of the machine that are outlined throughout this manual. -

ADJUSTMENTS THE MACHINE MUST NOT BE PLUGGED IN AND THE POWER SWITCH MUST BE IN THE OFF POSITION UNTIL ADJUSTMENTS ARE COMPLETE. MAINTENANCE 5. Clean the planer bed columns on a regular basis to Turn the power switch “OFF” and prevent the build-up of wood chips and dust. Treat the disconnect the plug from the outlet prior to adjusting or posts with a dry lubricant spray. Do not use ordinary oil maintaining the machine. -
