7.1.2 Cellular Data Network

Check the availability of service and plan rates of data connections with your network
service provider.
• Customize the mobile network settings
1. Tap Settings.
2. In WIRELESS & NETWORKS, tap More > Mobile
networks.
The following mobile network settings are
available:
• Date enabled: Check to enable data access
over mobile network.
• Data roaming: Check to enable connection to
data services when roaming.
• Preferred networks: Use this setting to select
the preferred network, if applicable.
• Network Mode: Use this setting to select the
network mode.
• Access Point Names: Use this setting to set
up data connection. Obtain the following
information from your network service provider:
Access Point Names, Proxy, Port, User name,
and Password.
• Network operators: Use this setting to select a network operator.
• Mobile data service preferred: Check to allow mobile data transmission
rate to be faster, however, call receiving rate may deteriorate.
