13.1.6 Tethering & Portable Hotspot
Share your phone's mobile data connection via USB/
Bluetooth or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
To set up your device mobile data network sharing
settings, tap Settings > More > Tethering & portable
hotspot.
• USB tethering: Check to share your mobile
data connection via USB connection.
• Portable Wi-Fi hotspot: Check to share your
mobile data connection via Wi-Fi.
• Keep Wi-Fi hotspot on: Tap to set the duration
of turning on Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Set up Wi-Fi hotspot: Set the network SSID
and the password for the Wi-Fi devices to
connect and share your mobile data connection.
• Bluetooth tethering: Check to share your
mobile data connection via Bluetooth.
• Hotspot & tethering settings: Select the
hotspot and tethering settings. Options are IPv4
and IPv4 & IPv6.
