TITLE: Modified Side by Side water tray / cup thaw water for 19cf & 25cf versions.
SUBJECT: In case of water leakage claims which are created by a cracked water tray, the cup thaw water should be re-
placed by the modified version. The new water tray is completely interchangeable with the old one. The fixation of the valve
is exactly the same. Follow modification was done: Increase the small radius at the base of the valve support in order to
avoid risk of breakages.
REMEDIAL ACTION
The modified water tray's have the same order number: For 19cf appliance the order number is 4801 321 01352. For 25cf
appliance the order number is 4812 418 28424. The improved water tray version is implemented in production since week
47/2010. On appliance which are produced before week 47/2010, the cup thaw water should be replaced by the modified
one. The SPC stock is replaced by the modified versions since 13.12.2010. See below a example of cracked water tray and
the comparison between old and new execution.
