Network Access

You may connect your BDA-3 to your local area
network using CAT5 or better cable to facilitate use
of the built in web-based user interface or to control
and monitor the unit using an automation system.
Once connected to the network, you may access the
web user interface with a web browser by entering
the host name into the address bar. The host name
is formatted like so:
http://bda3-000000
where the six digit sequence following bda3- is
the serial number of your unit. For web browsers
that do not support zeroconf networking (Android
phones, etc.), you may identify the numerical
IP address of your player by finding it where
connected devices are listed in your network router
interface.

IR Control

You may control the BDA-3 with a traditional
infrared remote control such as Bryston's BR2.
To use a Bryston BR2 with the BDA-3, press the D/A
button. You can use the BR2 to select the inputs
SPDIF 1 and 2, TOSLINK, AES/EBU, and USB1. You
can also set upsampling on or off. The BR2 will not
let you select the HDMI inputs or USB2.
To program a universal remote, use the following
