Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency, or the
gas supplier.
This appliance may be installed in a permanent home, and is suitable for bedroom or
sitting room.

It is important to note that, when passing Simpson Duravent pipe through a wall thimble (p/n 942) maybe required in Canada. Check local codes. Flex pipe installations require Mill-Pac sealant on exhaust joints.

    Planning The recommended order of installation is as follows: 1-Familiarize yourself with this manual. 2-Check the minimum install dimensions and vent installation. 3-Check your local install codes. 4-Check you have the parts and components necessary to complete the installation. 5-Check the gas and electrical supplies are ready. 6-Prepare opening (clean chase, level base etc.) 7-Install Venting.

    Thermostat Installation Thermostat or wall switch installation The burner control switch is located in the center of the control department opening. For your convenience, the unit can also be operated by a thermostat or a wall switch control. Millivolt thermostats are available from any authorized CFHM dealer.

    Log Installation Make certain that none of the fire holes or the pilot are blocked while installing the log set. Logs are brittle and easily damaged. Handle with care. Distribute vermiculite evenly over the burner. Spread it near and around the flame holes, but do not block any of them.
