PEDAL ORGAN
String tone at 32' pitch.
The 16' member of the Pedal principal chorus. Strongest pedal
flue stop.
String tone at 16' pitch.
Stopped flute tone of weight and solidity.
Softer stopped flute of delicacy and definition.
Useful where a soft 16' pitch is required.
Eight foot member of the Pedal principal chorus.
Stopped flute tone of 8' pitch, useful in adding clarity to a pedal
line in combination with the Bourdon 16' or Lieblichgedackt
16'.
Pedal 4' principal tone.
Compound stop of principal tone. One pedal produces three
distinct pitches at octave and fifth relationships to the pedal
being pressed. Used to crown the Pedal principal chorus.
Strong reed that lends strength and definition to the Pedal line.
Sixteen foot reed that lends strength and "snarl" to the Pedal
line.
Pedal reed of less power and harmonic development than the
Posaune.
Harmonically full, more like trombone tone than trumpet tone.
Excellent reed chorus voice. Works very well as a solo reed
voice of medium brightness.
Bright 4' chorus reed.
Tromba 8' to form the full Pedal chorus. Also useful as a solo
voice.
