OUTPUT TERMINALS

TAPE END OUT Terminal
œ During recording, when the end of the tape is reached
or when the tape counter reading indicates 2 hours,
the output becomes 0V (Low). During autorepeat
recording, the output becomes 0 V (Low) for about 2
seconds only.
œ To reset the output, press the STOP or EJECT button.
TAPE END OUT Terminal Output Setting

Press the MENU button to display the MAIN MENU.
2 Press the l (or j) button to select the
"5.ALARM/SERIES REC SET" line, then press the
ENTER button.
ø The (ALARM/SERIES REC SET) menu
appears.

3 Press the l (or j) button until the "TAPE END OUT"
setting is highlighted, then press the ENTER button.
Press the l (or j) button to select the desired

mode, then press the ENTER button.
2:00 . . . . . . . The output becomes 0 V (Low)
when the tape counter reaches
"2:00:00" and/or when the tape
reaches the end.
END . . . . . . . The output becomes 0 V (Low)
when the tape reaches the end.

NOTES:
œ If the "SERIES REC" is set to "Y" in the
(ALARM/SERIES REC SET) menu, the output
becomes 0 V (Low) for about 2 seconds when the
counter reaches "2:00:00", even if the "TAPE
END OUT" is set to "END".
œ If the "SERIES REC" is set to "Y" in the
(ALARM/SERIES REC SET) menu, the output
becomes 0 V (Low) until 5 minutes have passed
after the tape reaches the end.

Press the MENU EXIT button.
COM Terminal
œ Common GND (ground) terminal when connecting
other terminals to external devices.
TIMER OUT terminal
œ During timer recording, the output becomes 0 V.
œ During timer recording stand-by mode, the output is 5
V (High).
