Before you call for service...
Problem
Vibration or
rattling
Fresh food or freezer
compartment too warm
Frost or ice crystals on

Automatic icemaker
does not work

Possible Causes
Front roller screws or
front leveling legs need
adjusting.
Slight vibration is
normal.
Temperature control
not set cold enough.
Warm weather or
frequent door openings.
Door left open.
Package blocking air
duct in freezer
compartment.
Door left open.
Too frequent or too
long door openings.
Frost within package
is normal.
Icemaker feeler arm in
STOP (up) position.
Water supply turned
off or not connected.
Freezer compartment
too warm.
Piled up cubes in the
storage bin may cause
the icemaker to shut
off prematurely.
Water shutoff valve
connecting refrigerator
to water line may be clogged.
Door left open.
Temperature control
not set cold enough.
