ENGINE START
Do not start engine with outside air temperature below
-13 F (-25 C) or above 120 F (50 C).

Fuel Pressure – NORMAL

Throttle – Cold Start – FULLY CLOSED
Warm Start – 1/8 in OPEN

Choke – Cold Start – PULL tee handle out - HOLD
Warm Start – OFF

Brakes – HOLD

Propeller – CLEAR

Ignition Key – ENGAGE

Throttle/Choke – 2500 rpm max

Oil Pressure – CHECK 12 psi within 10 seconds or
immediately shutdown the engine

Ammeter – CHARGING

Choke – OFF
Limit the use of the starter to 10 seconds duration maximum
with a two minute cooling off period between each starter
engagement.
