Getting to Know Your Impala

or down to raise or lower the front
portion of the seat cushion.
• Slide the rear part of the control up or
down to raise or lower the rear por-
tion of the seat cushion.
Lumbar Support (if equipped)
The lumbar support
knob is located on
the outboard side
of the driver's seat.
Turn the knob
toward the front
of the vehicle to
increase lumbar support. Turn the knob
to the rear to decrease support.
Heated Seats (if equipped)
The heated seat controls are located on
the outboard side of the driver and front
passenger seat. Press HI or LO to set
the seat temperature. Set the button in
the center position to turn off the heat
feature.

Dual Climate Control System

This system controls your vehicle's heat-
ing, cooling and ventilation. The controls
are located on your instrument panel.
The left knob operates the fan and pro-
vides 10 speed settings. Below the fan
control knob are the following air circula-
tion controls:
(Outside Air): Press this button to
turn the outside air mode on. When acti-
vated, outside air will circulate through-
out your vehicle.
(Recirculation): Press this button to
recirculate inside air throughout the
vehicle. This mode keeps outside air
from entering the vehicle.
Temperature Controls
In the middle of the climate control face-
plate are the temperature controls. Slide
the levers marked D (Driver) or P
(Passenger) up or down to increase or
decrease the temperature on the driver's
side or passenger's side of the vehicle.
Five Primary Operating Modes
The knob on the right of the faceplate
provides the following five climate con-
trol modes:
(Vent): This mode directs air to the
instrument panel outlets.
