The bass reflex cabinet of the 8" subwoofer base also houses the Class D amplifier unit of the system with protection circuits against overcurrent, overheating and short-circuit, the LECC digital signal processing from LD Systems and a 4-channel mixer.
- Page 10 General information Before startup, the subwoofer of the LD Systems MAUI5 PA system must be placed upright on its feet, on a flat surface. Never operate your system on a trolley, as there is a risk that the entire system might be unstable. Accidents and damage may result. To ensure adequate cooling, during opera- tion a minimum distance of 50 cm must be maintained between the back of the subwoofer and other objects such as walls for example.
