The printer system’s EMI/EMC and safety compliance are referenced to the power supply provided by Practical Automation. The power supply must have short circuit and fault energy limit protection to comply with the required safety standards. It is the responsibility of the system engineer, when changing to an alternate power supply, to insure continued functional, safety and EMI/EMC compliance is maintained.
