To set the cutting blade nut on the Ryobi RY40107:
1. Place the new blade on the shaft against the fan assembly, ensuring the shaft goes through the center blade hole and the two blade posts are inserted into the corresponding holes on the blade.
2. Make sure the curved ends of the blade point up toward the mower deck.
3. Reinstall the blade insulator, spacer, and blade nut.
4. Tighten the blade nut by turning it clockwise (as viewed from the bottom of the mower) using a 15 mm wrench or socket.
