Possible cause/consequence
You are driving too fast for the desired
vehicle level.
You are towing a trailer or using acces-
sories that are connected to the trailer
power socket, e.g. a bicycle rack.
You have selected another vehicle
level*.
You are driving too fast for the set vehi-
cle level.
The air suspension functional only to a
limited extent.
You have opened a door or the tailgate
while the vehicle is being lowered.
Possible solution
Reduce vehicle speed.
Set the desired vehicle level again
( page 281).
Do not drive faster than 20 mph
(30 km/h).
Do not drive faster than 50 mph
(80 km/h) depending on the set
vehicle level.
Have the vehicle checked at an au-
thorized Mercedes-Benz Light
Truck Center.
