it from and attach it to the unit.

When to replace the separation pad
The separation pad inside the scanner is a consumable item and wears
with scanner use. A worn separation pad is no longer able to correctly
feed a document and can cause paper jams.
If documents no longer feed correctly as frequent multi feed, replace the
separation pad.
