the   p ower   s ource.  
The   c ontrol   s witch   i s   d efective.  
The   l awn   i s   r ough   o r   u neven.  
The   c utting   h eight   i s   n ot   s et   p roperly.    
Wet   g rass   c lippings   a re   s ticking   t o   t he  
underside   o f   t he   d eck.    
The   g rass   i s   l ong,   o r   t he   c utting   h eight   i s  
too   l ow.  
The   r ear   o f   t he   m ower   h ousing   a nd   t he  
blade   a re   d ragging   i n   h eavy   g rass.    
 
The   m otor   s haft   i s   b ent.    
   
   
   
 
The   b lade   i s   u nbalanced.  
SOLUTION  
Adjust   t he   h eight   o f   t he   h andle   a nd   m ake  
sure   t he   c arriage   b olts   a re   s eated   p roperly.      
 
Tighten   c am   h andle.    
Reconnect   t he   c ord,   a nd   u se   t he   c ord    
restraint   t o   k eep   t he   c ord   c loser   t o   t he    
switch.  
Connect   t he   e xtension   c ord   t o   a   l ive   1 20V    
AC,   6 0   H Z   A C   r eceptacle.    
Have   m otor   c ontrol   s witch   r eplaced   b y   a n  
authorized   s ervice   c enter.    
Check   t he   m owing   a rea.  
Move   t he   w heels   t o   a   h igher   p osition.    
Wait   u ntil   t he   g rass   d ries   b efore   m owing.    
   
Raise   t he   c utting   h eight.    
 
Stop   t he   m otor,   d isconnect   t he   m ower    
from   t he   p ower   s ource,   a nd   i nspect   i t    
for   d amage.   R epair   t he   m ower   b efore    
restarting.   I f   t he   v ibration   p ersists,   c all  
the   t oll-­‐free   h elpline.        
Balance   t he   b lade   b y   g rinding   e ach    
cutting   e dge   e qually.
