Parental Lock Setting

(Only for remote control unit)
This function disables the audience from selecting the
locked channel.
q Press and hold [{] for more than 2 seconds to acti-
vate the parental lock setting mode.
w Press some of the numeric buttons from [0] to [9] on
the remote control to enter a 4-digit code. (default:
0000)
e Press [BAND] (SET).
r Press some of the numeric buttons from [0] to [9] on
the remote control to enter a channel number.
t Press and hold [[] for more than 2 seconds to con-
firm the channel number to be locked.
(To unlock the channel number, press and hold []]
for more than 2 seconds. ("UNLOCK" is displayed. )

For setting other channels, repeat the steps r and t.
y Press [BAND] (SET) to confirm the setting and return
to the regular mode.

(To enter a new 4-digit code)
y Press and hold [BAND] (SET) for more than 2 sec-
onds after the step t.
u Press some of the numeric buttons from [0] to [9] on
the remote control to enter a new 4-digit code.
i Press [BAND] (SET).
o Repeat the steps u and i to confirm the new code.
"CODE SET" is displayed for 2 seconds and the regular
mode resumes.
Note:
¡ To return to the regular mode, press [D] (DISP).
¡ Entry of wrong code number or invalid channel number
results in the display of "INVALID" and set the unit back
to the pre-entry status.
Parental Lock On/Off
q Press and hold [VOLUME] (PUSH SEL) for more
than 2 seconds to activate the Parental Lock ON/OFF
selection mode.
w Press some of the numeric buttons from [0] to [9] on
the remote control to enter a 4-digit code.
e Press [BAND] (SET).
r Turn [VOLUME] to toggle the Parental Lock function
on and off.
Note:
¡ Other setting screens in "Function Settings" appear in
turns after the demonstration setting screen by pressing
[VOLUME] (PUSH SEL).
¡ To return to the regular mode, press [D] (DISP).
¡ If no operation takes place for more than 5 seconds, the
display returns to the regular mode.
