SETTING THE FUNCTIONS

Press the button for the desired function to view
and select other settings.
Setting The Dispenser Lock
Setting The Door Alarm
The alarm stops sounding when the door is
closed. Press the ALARM button once to activate
and deactivate the door alarm function.
NOTE: Contact LGE Customer Information
Center if the alarm continues to sound after the
doors are closed.
The diagnostic function automatically detects problems with your refrigerator, and a diagnostic code will
appear in the display. NOTE: If a diagnostic code appears in the display during use, note the code and
then call 1300 542 273 (Australia), 0800 542 273 (New Zealand) (7 Days, 7am-7pm) and select the
option to locate an authorized servicer.
USING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
Press and hold the LOCK
button for three seconds to
lock the dispenser and all
of the other control panel
functions. Press and hold
again for 3 seconds to
unlock.
The ALARM button also
controls the door alarm
that sounds three times in
30-second intervals when
a compartment door is left
open for more than
60 seconds.
DIAGNOSTIC FAILURE DETECTION
Resetting The Filter Indicator
You need to change the water filter approximately
every 6 months.
Activating Express Freezing
NOTE: Press the button again to cancel the
Express Freezing function.

When the water filter
indicator turns on, you have
to change the water filter.
After changing the filter,
press and hold the FILTER
button for 3 seconds to turn
the indicator light off.
Press the EXPRESS FRZ.
button once to activate the
Express Freezing function.
The EXPRESS FRZ.
function runs the freezer
compartment at the coldest
setting for a 24-hour period
to increase icemaking, and
then turns off automatically.
